Hello fellow job seekers! Happy Veterans Day! If you're like me, you're sitting on your couch right now, enjoying your day off from school. It's nice to have a Tuesday off, knowing that you will return to work on Wednesday and have only a few days before the weekend rolls around.
It will be January before you know it.
November is shortened thanks to the pilgrims and the veterans. December is abbreviated by the winter holidays (insert religious festivity of your choice) and punctuated by the occasional snow day. Work hard and two months will flash before your eyes.
What will you do with your time? How can you manage to be an effective teacher with all of these obstacles in your way? Will any jobs open up? What else could possibly complicate your stressful holiday season?
I'm just happy to have a little time off to spend with my family. Everything else will fall into place eventually. With any luck, these two quick months will painlessly get me closer to eventually.
